Mistfall Hunter Guide

Mistfall Hunter is a third-person dark-fantasy PvPvE extraction ARPG. Choose the class job your squad is missing, compare the affix or equipment record that supports it, and extract when the next fight no longer fits your safety margin.

Extraction field notes

Mistfall Hunter rewards the exit decision

The valuable question is not “which class is best?” It is whether the current class job, carried haul, affix trigger, rival pressure, and Returner Woodling still justify one more encounter. The Hub keeps that extraction judgment visible.

Name the missing job

Choose engage, control, range, recovery, scouting, or boss pressure before comparing a class or stance.

Convert value early

Carried spoils disappear on death, so a short extraction with a smaller win can be the correct build test.

Treat issues as route data

Reconnect, controller, extraction-point, and Flameblade workarounds change what a safe run looks like today.

Test one affix trigger

Use the affix level and trigger text to solve the missing job, then verify it in one short run before committing the haul to a deeper fight.

Revisit signal: Use this Hub before a high-value run, after an issue report, or whenever a new affix makes the old risk call unreliable.

Start with the decision

The focused page uses two one-step selectors. You do not need to know a class name or calculate a hidden risk score.

01

Which class fits the missing job?

Choose starter, solo, frontline, range, control, recovery, flank, or boss pressure.

02

Should this run push or leave?

Six-class current guide

Choose the missing squad job, not a universal tier

Every class has two weapon stances, while balance, gem affixes, talents, and seasonal rules can move. The current table starts from the job each class must perform under extraction pressure.

ClassRoleWeapon stancesChoose when
MercenaryFrontline fighterSword & Shield / HammerYou want the clearest first class or need a build that can hold space while the squad learns the route.
BlackarrowRanged scoutBow — Archer / Bow — HunterYou want route information, ranged pressure, or a solo-friendly way to decide when a target is safe to approach.
SorcererMagic damage and controlStaff — Elemental / Staff — StardustThe squad needs group control and ranged PvE pressure more than another melee commit.
ShadowstrixMobile assassinDagger / Dual BladesYou want mobile solo play or a PvP flank that can punish one exposed target and leave quickly.
SeerSupport and recoveryCatalyst — Support / Mace — Super ArmorThe squad can start fights but loses the haul after one bad trade, split, or failed rescue.
Withered KnightHeavy fighter and execute pressureGreatsword / Polearm & ShieldThe squad needs heavy punish pressure, a guarded rescue option, or a second frontline answer for committed targets.

Three-player formation

Cover four jobs with three builds

EngageStart the fight on favorable terms instead of following every sound.
ControlCreate space against monsters and rival players.
RecoverReset after a bad exchange or rescue a downed teammate.
RouteKeep a Returner Woodling and disengage path in the plan.

Run calls

Convert carried value before the route disappears

Push one objectiveLow haul, healthy build, clear objective Recheck after the next valuable item, spent cooldown set, or route change.
Turn toward extractionUseful haul, known route, one recovery option left Take only the fight required to reach a Returner Woodling.
ExtractHigh-value haul or key item found Convert the item into camp progress before testing another fight.
Regroup then leaveSquad split or support depleted Do not use a three-player risk budget with one role missing.
Run a short testNew class, stance, talent, or gem affix Change one variable and carry replaceable loot.

Safe build test

Test one variable in a low-value run

Carried spoils are lost on death. A new stance, talent path, or gem affix should prove one job before the account risks its best inventory.

  1. 1
    Choose a short objective

One fight, one route, or one modest loot target.

  2. 2
    Name the job

Damage, control, recovery, scouting, or escape.

  3. 3
    Keep an exit margin

Know the Returner Woodling route before adding another encounter.

  4. 4
    Repeat before spending

Invest Gyldenblood and rare affixes only after the result appears in more than one run.

Before a high-value action

Stop when the game no longer matches the plan

A shorter-than-expected hit, an unusual extraction cost, a failed reconnect, or an unresponsive inventory control is a reason to protect the haul before repeating the action.

Combat mismatchPause the rotation and confirm the real hit before committing another cast.
Extraction uncertaintyCheck that the return interaction finished and that the remaining resource count still matches the route.
Session instabilityTreat an unreliable reconnect as an exit signal while the squad still controls the path.
Inventory inputConfirm focus, item, and price with a working input method before accepting the action.

Player questions

Mistfall Hunter FAQ

Answers reflect the current status and check date shown on this hub.

Can you play Mistfall Hunter solo?

Yes. You can enter alone or play in a three-player squad.

Does Mistfall Hunter support crossplay?

Yes. The official launch FAQ confirms cross-platform matchmaking. Use the current party screen to verify the invitation flow for the exact platform combination.

How do you extract in Mistfall Hunter?

The route back to camp uses a Returner Woodling. Check the current map and protect a Soul of Return before committing to the extraction route.

Where is the Mistfall Hunter equipment database?

The Equipment & Systems reference covers the named Holy Weapons, class sets, vouchers, keys, zones, Mist Lords, and recovery rules that are currently stable enough to publish. It does not invent a complete weapon roster when the live sources do not provide one.

How many Mistfall Hunter affixes are in the current database?

The current public reference contains 32 named affixes with tier, trigger, icon, and level effects. A newly reported affix remains out of the collection until its effect is complete enough to verify.
